Laurel is a seasoned consultant serving the healthcare industry with significant experience in urgent care. Her clientele includes the College of Urgent Care Medicine, the Urgent Care Association (UCA), and an Autism diagnostic and therapies organization.

Laurel held the position of UCA’s Chief Executive Officer from January 2017 to June 2020, demonstrating profound leadership with her longstanding involvement with UCA in various roles such as the Chair of the Urgent Care Foundation, UCA Board member and officer, and active member of several key committees.

Before joining UCA, Laurel was a founder and Principal of Continuum Health Solutions, LLC, a consultancy focusing on the urgent care and outpatient rehabilitation sectors. Her leadership extended to executive roles at NextCare Urgent Care where she significantly expanded its reach, and at Comprehensive Medical Imaging and MATRIX Rehabilitation, overseeing 180 sites nationwide. Her tenure at NovaCare, Inc. concluded with her role as President, Western Region, Outpatient Division, managing over 300 outpatient therapy sites.

Laurel offered her expertise to the public as an appointee on the Arizona Physical Therapy Board of Examiners, serving as its President. As a summa cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University School of Allied Medical Professions and a holder of healthcare compliance certification from the Health Care Compliance Association, Laurel's academic credentials firmly support her vast professional experience.
